Katherine Arboleda, MSW
Katherine has over a decade of early intervention experience, working with families with children at ages from birth through age 3 who are suspected of having a developmental delay. She started her career in 2013 as a Service Coordinator (SC), eventually working her way up to Lead SC Trainer, and then SC Supervisor.
Katherine graduated from Stony Brook University, where she earned her master’s degree in Social Work. Katherine has experience as a research assistant, participating in the National Children’s Study at Mount Sinai, and completed her clinical hours at the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) program within New York City’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner. She was also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Family Court and conducted research studies at Rikers Island. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
During her career, Katherine has consecutively and successfully led a team of over a dozen SCs through a State Agency Audit, overseeing Compliance and Quality Assurance for the SC Department.
She leads the SC Department’s training and is responsible for developing professional development curricula for the department. In addition to serving as SC Supervisor, Katherine is responsible for the overall direction and growth of PCCD’s SC program.
